I can’t download videos YouTube Help

If you’re having trouble downloading videos on your internet browser or mobile device, follow the troubleshooting steps below. To start, tap Search , enter what you’re searching for, and then filter the results by videos, channels, or playlists. Tap Create to record a video, start a live stream, or upload videos from your mobile device. Check the settings on your mobile device to ensure you have enabled background data for YouTube. We’re working to add these types of notifications to the card in the future.

Troubleshoot problems playing videos

The following types of notifications will not show in the Important notifications card. We’re working to add additional types of notifications to this card in the future. If you've hit the limit, you'll need to free up a slot by removing downloads from unused devices. If you've reached your limit, you'll need to connect to Wi-Fi or purchase more data to download videos.

Download the YouTube mobile app

Check internet connection strength

Once you start watching videos, the Home tab will show you recommended videos based on your preferences and activity on YouTube. Try to sign in to YouTube Premium again
