The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 20079, Zeon commander Lieutenant Char Aznable launches an attack on the space colony of Side 7. There, he discovers the Earth Federation’s new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam, has been abandoned. He then decides to steal it for himself, setting off a domino effect that changes history as we know it forever. Five years later, in the independent colony of Side 6, a young girl from the Newtype tribe sets out to find the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Things soon turn so that he finds himself piloting the new Gundam GQuuuuuuX prototype and competing in underground mobile suit fighting competitions. Surrounded by new friends, he struggles to understand his strange abilities and find his place in the world, dreaming of a sky where he could fly freely.
